Measured high-power far-field pattern of the co-rotating 165 GHz TE31,17-mode, where some counter-rotating mode was intentionally produced by means of reflection at a quartz plate, positioned longitudinally on the axis of propagation [27]. In azimuthal direction, 62 intensity maxima and minima can be counted (see Fig. 6).
